How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from the KämppisFinder app:

1. Open the KämppisFinder app and log in to your account.
2. Go to the Profile tab (bottom right).
3. Tap Settings.
4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
5. Enter your password to confirm.
6. Your account and data will be permanently deleted.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Profile data — your display name, bio, city, lifestyle preferences, and all other profile information
• Profile photos — all uploaded photos are deleted from our servers
• Connections — all connection requests (sent and received) are removed
• Blocks — all block records are removed
• Account credentials — your email, password, and authentication data are deleted

What Data Is Anonymized

To preserve the integrity of conversations for other users, messages and conversations are anonymized rather than deleted:

• Your messages remain visible to the other participant, but your name and identity are removed.
• Conversations are updated so that your identity is no longer associated with them.

This means no one can trace the anonymized messages back to you.
